Playthrough Requirement

What it means, which currency it applies to, and real-world examples.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Tip: Make sure you’ve selected Sweeps Coins (SC) via the currency toggle before wagering—Gold Coins (GC) bets do not count toward your playthrough.

Definition

The 1× playthrough requirement means you must wager (“play through”) each batch of new SC at least once before those SC become eligible for cash redemption.

Which Currency Applies?

  • Only SC are subject to the playthrough requirement.

  • Gold Coins (GC) are not affected—you can use GC however you like without any wagering conditions.

How It Works

  1. Locking SC: Whenever you receive SC (from a GC package bonus or mail-in entry), that amount is marked as locked.

  2. Wagering SC: Each SC you bet in slots or table games reduces your locked balance.

  3. Unlocking SC: When your total SC wagered ≥ total SC received, all locked SC becomes redeemable.

  4. Re-locking SC: If you receive additional SC after unlocking (daily bonus or another mail-in), only the new SC are locked—and you must wager that new amount.

Examples

  1. Simple Unlock

    • Receive 100 SC → 100 SC locked

    • Wager 100 SC → lock broken; 100 SC now redeemable

  2. Winnings Don’t Relock

    • Receive 200 SC → 200 SC locked

    • Wager 100 SC, win 500 SC → 100 SC still locked; 500 SC winnings pending

    • Wager another 100 SC → lock broken; all 700 SC (200 received + 500 winnings) redeemable

  3. Partial Progress

    • Receive 300 SC → 300 SC locked

    • Wager 150 SC → 150 SC still locked; must wager the remaining 150 SC before any cash-out

  4. AMOE Entry Re-applies Lock

    • Receive 100 SC → 100 SC locked

    • Wager 100 SC, win 500 SC → lock broken; 500 SC redeemable

    • Submit mail-in AMOE and receive 5 SC → 5 SC locked

    • Wager that 5 SC → lock broken; existing winnings stay redeemable

Key Takeaway: You only need to wager each batch of SC once—winnings and previously unlocked SC are never subject to another playthrough.
